Blog 14 - Revision of "Blog 8 - Death Awaits Below"

I sat in my area. I felt extremely comfortable here. The birds chirped, the flowers blossomed, and the wend gently blew.

The sun was out and there was a thin layer of clouds.

As I relaxed, Jack and some of the other boys brought a dead pig 10 feet away from me. The head stared. I stared. The next thing I knew it was the only thing. Me and it. I waited for it to speak.

"You have no chance. "

I turned back and found my eyes still stuck.

"None. Don't go. You'll die. Stay."

What could that mean?

"You will give in."

I stared into the pig's eyes. He stared back. The flies all wanted a piece of him. Not me.

"Don't go."

I stared more intensely.

"I'm your friend. You will give into me too."

I felt dizzy.

"They are all salvages."

"Who?"

"Jack, Roger, even Piggy and Ralph."

I couldn't stand it. I knew I couldn't give in. I had to be strong. It was torture. Suddenly, I collapsed.

When I woke up, there was a thicker layer of clouds and the wind blew harder.

I had it. I needed to end this beastie thing forever.

I ascended the mountain to really find out what this "beastie" was. I struggled to clamber. The hill seemed endless. My anticipation was overwhelming.

I finally arrived. The sun began to set. The wind blew harder.

I smelled something offensive. I turned to find a dead man with a parachute attached. The corpse was being eaten by flies. The smell was like 10 year old bread with dog poop smothered all over it. My body overreacted and gagged.

Suddenly, I realized this was the beastie the boys were imaginating. I suddenly broke into a sprint. I needed to inform them. The fear of the boys would no longer be corrupted.

It was dark, raining, and there was lightning.

As I got closer, I heard a chant.

"Kill the Beast! Cut his throat! Spill his blood!"

I tripped over a rock. I fell on my face. I slowly clambered up. Suddenly, all the boys surrounded me. I was drawn to the center. I became tremulous. I was suddenly being clawed and bitten. I screamed.

"The beast! It's a man!"

No one cared.

The rain began to trickle, and the lightning let up.

My eyes became steadfast, as the life was sucked out of them.

Jack stabbed me with a spear. Roger clawed at me. Piggy and Ralph were eating me.

I can't stand Jack and Roger for how mean they are but this was too far. They even turned Ralph and Piggy into salvages. They were eating me! Eating me! I trusted them and thought they believed in the same things as me but apparently that head was right.

"That head"

It was right. Wait.... what did it say? It said I'd... I'd..... die.

The rest, I don't remember. My death was unfortunate, but everything happens for a reason.

I just hope the boys realize the beast is a figment of their imaginations.

Blog 13 - Revision of "Blog 7 - Peer Pressure"

Today we were hunting for the beastie. We abandoned the littluns and Piggy and all of the biguns looked. We went to the other side of the island to what we called "Castle Rock". It was a place that only Jack had explored. He and Ralph both believed it was where the beastie resided. It was a bunch of boulders stacked on each other. It loomed above all of us.

"I'll go, I'm leader." Ralph said.

"I'll go too." Jack said.

They went inside of the cavern to find nothing. Jack thought it would be a great base station. Ralph Disagreed. He said it smelled terrible.

We were still on a quest to find the beastie. We all wanted to take a break before we went all the way to the other side of the island. Suddenly,

"Kill the Pig, cut it's throat" was being shouted by the crowd.

Suddenly I found myself right in the action, trying to throw a spear at Robert. It was infuriating when I missed him. I kept trying to get him. It felt really good to let it all out. I didn't care about rules and the punishments. Those no longer seemed important. Instead, I tried to do everything Jack, Simon, and even Ralph were doing. I lost control, and when we stopped it was overwhelming.

When we stopped Robert sniveled. He was hurt. I didn't really care and I was about ready to slither his throat and eat his blood.

Ralph then thought about Piggy and the littluns.

"Someone has to go back." Ralph said.

"Alone?" I asked.

"Yes Roger, alone." Ralph replied.

"I'll go if you like. I don't mind, honestly." Simon said.

Before Ralph could say anything Ralph trotted off into the forest.

We all walked along the what seemed like infinite pig run. I was so tired. We climbed across boulders, coverts, and weeds. We finally arrived at the base of the mountain. Ralph and Jack were uncompromising.

"Let's Go."

"We need three people."

"We need to warn Piggy."

"Simon already went"

After what seemed like hours of negotiating, they ended up taking me with them. As we ascended the mountain, it became darker. The blunder of stars provided enough light to see. We stopped. Jack left us to find the beastie.

I became more nervous. The beastie could come out any second to attack us. Ralph kept asking me random questions, but I really wasn't in the mood to answer them. I could have addressed him less sagely.

I really despise Ralph and Piggy, both of them want an equal democracy. I think I'm more like Jack though, there should only be one leader. I wish it was him.

I can't stand Piggy though. It keeps coming back in my head and attacking me. I needed to see him die. I don't know that could happen though, if Jack doesn't soon I will.

"Yes" I replied in a low tone.

Unexpectedly, Jack comes back. He says he saw an ape.

I froze.

Blog 12 - Trial Preperation

I am going to be Percival in the LOTF case. Here is what happened in each chapter:

Chapter 5:
Percival remembers his name and address at meeting:

Blog 11 - Freak Fest

My men and I were traveling across the ocean to fight the war with the U.S. Suddenly, we passed by an island. This was a special island. It was on fire.

"Fire"

That could mean only one thing. There were humans on the island.

We pulled into the island. One boy came running out of the trees like a mad-man. His ululation startled me. He was bruised, cut, and bleeding everywhere. He looked to be about 12 years old. He had long black, uncombed hair. His eyes were frightened and exhausted.

"Hullo"

"Hullo"

"Are there any grownups?"

"No. Just us"

"Havin' a war or something huh?"

"Yeah."

"Any dead?"

"Just two."

"I must say I'm quite disappointed. You guys are British, aren't you?"

"It wasn't that way before."

"Who's cheif."

"Me." The boy screamed loudly.

As the boy elaborated, many other boys emerged, most of them younger. They had the same tired expressions on their faces. They heaved their spears with them. It was amazing.

As I look back, I find it quite hard to visualize this spectacle.

I felt coweraly as I stepped back in alarm. The boys looked horrific.

I returned the boys back. I shaked the hands of some of the unfortunate mothers and fathers who had their children die.

I still ride overseas, and have never experienced anything like this.

Blog 10 - Dead Brains

Today we were with Piggy and Ralph. Last night Jack and his hunters stole Piggy's glasses and unfortunately, the fire went out. Ralph is very upset because he wants to go home. Without the fire, a ship won't be able to see us. Piggy recommended that we go talk to Jack and negotiate with words. Ralph instructed us to look good by combing our hair. We decided to tell Ralph it would be a good idea to bring spears - just in case.

"Let's go"

We crawled along the beach, thoughts of what would happen in our heads.

"They're not here." said Ralph.

The campfire area where Simon died was abandoned.

"They must be at the Castle Rock." said Ralph quietly. He examined the cliffs and continued to walk along.

We finally arrived to find a bunch of small boys painted with face paint. They stared at us with hate in their eyes.

Roger "greeted" Ralph.

"What business do you have here "

"Who are you, a soilder. Hahahahahahah."

Ralph blew the conch. He questioned the boys for Jack. They didn't know where he was.

"I'm here." said Jack

When Ralph explained how taking the glasses was wrong, Ralph fought him. They kept punching and stabbing each other. They finally stopped after Piggy whispered something in Ralph's ear. Ralph continued to talk.

Suddenly, Jack ordered the boys to take us away. The boys listened. Ralph and Piggy watched us be taken away.

Ralph tried to fight back for us. We watched Roger try pushing a boulder. It fell..... on Piggy and the Conch. Te conch shattered into a million pieces while Piggy's brains fell into the ocean. Both were washed away.

Jack forced us to join his tribe by whacking us with a whip. We both have huge marks on our backs that sting so badly. We now have to keep guard out for Ralph.

The boys are officially savages, and with another boy dead, we don't know what we'll do.

Blog 9 - The Beast ... is Real

Today I woke up uncertain of what the day's events would be. I finally saw Ralph. Ralph and I were trying to light the fire that burned out overnight. Suddenly Ralph brought up Jack's party.

"What happened to.. You know."

"I was on the outside" I said.

"Me too." Said Ralph.

I was ashamed to admit to Ralph that I ....murdered Simon.

"It was his fault" I said while I shuddered.

"He shouldn't have crawled out of nowhere like that." I gesticulated while I talked.

"He shouldn't have came." I moved my hands downwards.

In the end we decided we were never there and that It was Simon's fault.

Samneric came out of the forest with wood. They also denied the fact they were ever there.

The four of us tried to start a fire.

"The wood is in the wrong position"

"We will need to stifle it and start a new fire."

Ralph grabbed a big leaf and covered the fire. We started a new fire.

The little flame turned into a huge fire.

As we watched the fire we heard a noise in the bushes.

"It's...... the beastie!!!!"

We all attacked something. I felt something near my face. My asmar came. I struggled to breathe. My lungs were quenched and sufficated.

I heard to voices struggling with each other. A loud uluation came from one of them.

Finally, Ralph and samneric come. Sam was smothered in blood. I asked what happened. They talked about how they beat up the beast. Turns out it was them fighting each other.

They seemed phosphorescent in my eyesight. Suddenly, I realized my specs were gone, and it wasn't the beast.
